Avocado Eco Organic Mattress – 9 Inches Tall
Our Eco Organic Mattress uses one seamless layer of GOLS certified organic latex — 2 inches in the comfort layer (D65 / 14-19 ILD, soft). We add a layer of pure, naturally crimped 100% GOTS certified organic wool (CU 863637) (1 ounce per square foot) under the 100% organic certified cotton ticking in every mattress. For a luxurious and premium finish, we use 100% GOTS certified organic cotton (CU863637) in a soft, natural color, for a luxurious and premium finish, over a generous layer of organic wool with thin non-woven backing as a natural fire barrier. We do not use polyester fiber. Made in Los Angeles in our own manufacturing facility, our border coils are a meaty 14.5 gauge and interior zone coils are 12 gauge. Some companies use toxic chemical glues to bind their mattress layers together, which contributes to off-gassing and indoor air pollution. We do not. Instead, we use simple durable metal rings made from recycled steel to keep our mattress layers firmly in place.
Avocado Green Mattress, (Standard) – 11 Inches Tall
Our entire standard Avocado Green Mattress is GREENGUARD Gold Certified® by UL Environment (rather than just select components). It is a GOTS Organic Certified product and contains 3 inches of GOLS organic certified Dunlop latex. Construction of the build layers is as follows (listed from top to bottom):
100% Organic Cotton Ticking — GOTS organic certified and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (wraps the whole mattress).
100% Organic Wool — 1 ounce per sq. ft. — GOTS organic certified, Responsible Wool Standard and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100: Class 1 certified wool (19.HIN.68466, Hohenstein HTTI) sourced from Avocado Organic Wool in India.
100% Organic Certified Dunlop Latex — D65 / 14-19 ILD, Soft, 2 inches — GOLS organic certified, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and eco-INSTITUT® certified, sourced from Avocado Organic Latex in India.
Pocketed Innerspring Unit— Up to 1,414 pocketed support coils flex independently. They are arranged in 5 strategic zones — 3 interior zones and 2 reinforced perimeter zones — for optimal support and pressure relief.
100% Organic Certified Dunlop Latex — D65 / 14-19 ILD, Soft, 1 inch — GOLS organic certified, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and eco-INSTITUT® certified, sourced from Avocado organic certified farms and facilities we own in India and/or Guatemala.

The entire Avocado Green Mattress with the attached Euro-style, pillow-top is GREENGUARD Gold Certified® by UL Environment (rather than just select components). It is a GOTS Organic Certified product and contains 5 inches of GOLS organic certified Dunlop latex. Construction of the build layers is as follows (listed from top to bottom):
