To Opt-Out of Display Advertising

To stop or restrict the placement of cookies on your computer, remove them from your browser by adjusting your web browser preferences.

To manage our advertising on other sites, we engage third-party advertising partners, including Google AdWords and Quantcast. These third-party partners may use technologies such as cookies to gather information about your activities on the site and other sites in order to provide you advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests. Some of our third-party advertising partners participate in self-regulatory organizations, and those organizations operate websites that give you the ability to opt-out of receiving targeted ads from those partners. You can access these websites and also learn more about targeted advertising and privacy at Network Advertising or AboutAds. You can also choose not to be included in Google Analytics here or opt out of Quantcast here.

To be clear, whether you are opting out by adjusting your browser/device settings or by using a website established by a self-regulatory group, these cookie-based opt-outs must be performed on each device and browser that you wish to have opted-out. For example, if you have opted out on your computer browser, that opt-out will not be effective on your mobile device. You must separately opt out on each device.

To Unsubscribe from Email

If you receive an unwanted email from us, you can use the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of the email to opt out of receiving future emails. We have a store and magazine, which are different properties. You can unsubscribe using the following links:

To Opt-Out of Facebook Advertising

If you don't want Facebook to use information based on your activity on websites or apps off Facebook for the purpose of showing you ads, you can opt out in your ad settings. Learn more about online interest-based advertising from Facebook and see our data policy for more information about our data practices.

If you're a registered Facebook user, the choice you make on your browser or device will apply across your devices. If you're not a registered Facebook user, you'll need to make this choice on each browser or device you use. For more information, visit the Facebook Help Center.

Deletion Request Rights

To exercise the access and deletion rights described above, please submit a request to us by visiting this web form or by calling the following toll-free number: 1-888-914-9661, using PIN 303538. Only you, or a person or business entity registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf (an “authorized agent”), may make the requests set forth above. The request should include your contact information and describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it. In addition, you should provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected the personal information or an authorized representative of that person.

Personal Information Sales Opt-Out and Opt-In Rights

You have the right to direct us to not sell your personal information at any time (the "right to opt-out"). We do not sell the personal information of consumers we actually know are less than 16 years of age, unless we receive affirmative authorization (the "right to opt-in") from either the consumer who is at least 13 and less than 16 years of age, or the parent or guardian of a consumer less than 13 years of age. To exercise the right to opt-out, you (or your authorized representative) may submit a request to us by visiting the following internet web page: Do Not Sell My Personal Information. Alternatively, you may submit an opt-out request by contacting us at [email protected]. If you use an authorized agent to exercise the right to opt-out, you must provide the authorized agent written permission to do so, and we may deny the request if the authorized agent does not submit proof that it has been authorized by you to act on your behalf.
